Emergency Incident Alerting Systems

We seamlessly integrate with your CAD system to capture all incident alert information and immediately process this information based on your specific station requirements. Below are some of our emergency processing capabilities that you can choose to implement in your station.

Display incident alert details on LED signs and LCD monitors
Display your in-house develpoed area map alongside incident data on the LCD monitors
Display a dynamically generated map alongside incident data on the LCD monitors. The dynamic map zooms in and places a marker at the incident location. In addition, the map will display markers for all surrounding road closures, water sources, and traffic
Play an audio stream on all LCD monitor speakers when an incident is received
Send e-mails, text messages, and/or alphanumeric pages of incident alert details
Close one or more relays based on apparatus due which opens up a wide variety of control-based solutions

Appearing on the LCD monitor alongside of the call information, the response map zooms in to display the incident location in greater detail.

FASTalert NON-EMERGENCY

Non-Emergency Information Displays

Leverage your investment in LCDs and LEDs by displaying critical non-emergency information while your station is not in an emergency response status. Our non-emergency LED based solution is text-only based whereas our LCD solution is multi-media based and is extremely flexible in terms of the number of services and arrangement you choose to implement for your station. FASTmobile

Mobile Information Alerting System

Choose from the ever-growing list of mobile web-enabled devices...iPad, Laptops, iPhone, etc.

Have access to all the critical information for all outstanding incidents while you travel to/from an incident. The options here are endless though our intent is to deliver one full screen of all the information you desire while responding to the incident.

Our most popular layout consists of three sections. The first section displays all outstanding incidents along with the currently selected incident's details. The second section displays the current hospital status. The third section displays the currently selected incident's map. The map can be your in-house developed area maps or a dynamically generated map that zooms in and places a marker on the incident location. In addition, the dynamic map also displays a marker for all surrounding road closures, water sources and traffic. If you hover your mouse over any of the markers you get a popup display with additional information about that specific marker.

FASTweb MAINTENANCE

A web-based tool will be made available to station personnel designated to maintain required non-emergency information such as Road Closures, Equipment Out-Of-Service, Upcoming Events, Duty Schedules or any similar services requiring up to date maintenance.

The above information can be changed locally within the station or remotely off site by the fire academy, 911 center, headquarters, dispatch center, or EOC.

This Public Safety Alerting Platform was developed in 2009 and already is installed in several Public Safety establishments including Fire Stations, EMS Stations and Police Stations. The FAST Platform delivers emergency incident alert information as well as non-emergency information to Public Safety Station Personnel in an efficient and timely manner.

FIRE-STATION ALERTING

We understand that every fire-station is different, and because of that we develop alerting systems catered to your fire-station's individual needs. Our alerting systems consist of stand-alone products like: volume controls, colored strobes, customizable tones, and whole house speaker systems. When integrated together, these systems allow us to provide: bunk-room zoning, scheduled exterior speaker disconnects, automatic volume adjustments and more. APS, Inc. will design the alerting sytem and provide CAD drawings to your electrical contractor provided by APS or through your own department. A rack mountable unit provides a nice clean installation of our components and allows us to easily add to the system. By supplying us with a simple floor diagram we can provide you with an accurate price quote.

Alerting Systems

Custom designed to meet the needs of your station. Utilizing inputs and outputs, the alerting system when activated will turn on lights, bring the volume of the radio up to maximum level for a timed period, activate the smoke removal system, turn off the electric stove, turn on strobe lights, open doors automatically, and announce the type of call. Retrofitting existing stations is made easy by utilizing existing speaker systems and adding lighting control. The fire stations alerting system is programmed to fit your stations needs.

Pre-Alerting with ELK Module

Using the ELK Voice and Siren Driver Module we are able to create customized pre-alert sounds and announce them during calls using your fire station's amplifier and speaker system. We are able to create a pre-alert sound out of any type of audio file, or capture any sound via the onboard microphone. Custom voices such as, "Station 16! EMS Response" and so on.
